Skills and workflows

Role: Curation and documentation2026

One entry per skill: what it does, where to start, and who wrote it. My own skills are published; everyone else's link back to the source.

I keep a collection of skills and workflows for AI-assisted work. The wiki makes it navigable: one entry per skill name, a short definition, a starting point, and a link to whoever made it.

The original Design Skill Atlas covered seven design libraries. This edition also indexes the shared, Codex, Cursor, portfolio-local, and public-workflow skill folders. My original skills are published in the open repository. Skills I use from other authors link to their original repositories instead of being copied. Entries with unverified ownership stay clearly separate.

Select an entry in the collection below to open its reader and, when available, browse its verified source folder. Markdown opens as a readable document, with a raw-text view available. Supporting text files can be read in the same panel. Files are fetched from the source on demand; other authors' implementations are not stored in this repository. Entries without a verified file location retain their external source link.

Start with the job

A skill guides a specific task. A workflow connects tasks, checks, and approval steps. Start with one clear goal, then provide the files or evidence the assistant needs, your constraints, and the expected result.

If you want to…A useful sequence
Improve an interfaceReview the screen, refine its typography, then check accessibility
Explore a product ideaWrite a brief, specify a wireframe, then plan a usability study
Add motionLearn the vocabulary, implement an animation, then review it
Turn research into a decisionScope the question, gather evidence, compare options, and state the limits

In Codex, mention an available skill as $skill-name. That is an assistant invocation, not a terminal command. Other assistants may use a different convention. Check the source library for installation and dependencies.

What the public copy contains

The directory includes 505 public skill entries and 19 public workflow playbooks. Ten original skills have full source in my open repository. Another 362 skills link to their original authors' repositories or maintained sources. The remaining 133 entries need ownership review and are not claimed as mine. Third-party skill implementations are not copied into the current wiki.

Six private-project skills are withheld. Another 362 local command files still need individual publication review and are not included here. Cached vendor plugin instructions are also outside this export. Nothing in this directory claims that a skill is enabled, frequently used, or better than another.

Sources and reuse

The open-source wiki contains the readable directory and machine-readable catalog. My published skills, wiki prose, and workflows use CC BY 4.0. Other authors retain ownership and licensing of their work. Follow their source links for reuse terms.

What the numbers describe

These counts describe the 505 public skill entries, independently of the filters above. They do not measure executions, popularity, or quality. Each entry has one primary browsing category.
